• What is the Material of Boxing Gloves?

• Skin Material

The outer skin of boxing gloves is generally made of leather. There are three materials: PU, microfiber and genuine leather. PU is light and comfortable but not resistant to grinding, but it is cheaper than the price.

Many non-professional boxers generally like to buy PU materials; microfiber is wear-resistant, soft, and breathable, which is the material that many big brands like to use; leather is more expensive, so most professional players will choose it.

•  Inner Liner Material

In terms of the inner material of boxing gloves, there are mainly horsehair, compressed sponge, EV small foam material, latex, silicone and other materials. Many professional players choose horsehair, because horsehair is very hard and almost inflexible, and it is very painful to fight.
